Third party authentication

Go to Configurations > Settings > Security > Authentication.

At the top of the page you find login settings, here you can define which different login alternatives users can use for login to NSP.

You can set up NSP to allow users to log in using authentication systems from Windows AD. The tab has a user interface with the login options listed and the AD option has a checkbox associated with it. The checkbox is used to enable or disable the Windows AD login option in NSP. Login using NSP Username and Password is always active, this selection cannot be disabled.

NSP Login options

You can move the boxes up or down in the list using drag-and-drop. The login method placed on top is default when a user login to NSP.

The different login options supported by NSP are:

NSP: Login using Username (email address) and password defined in NSP, see section People. NSP Login cannot be disabled.

AD Login: Allows users to sign in using Active Directory Server (ADS) configured in NSP. To allow users to access active directory, you need to configure LDAP server for that specific Active Directory in NSP. LDAP Connections.
