License Types

Configurations > CMDB Management > License Types.

License Type offers information about a license that can be attached to an installation and a CI. License Type supports all type of software licenses like OEM, concurrent, enterprise, free, named user, node locked, trial, CAL, volume, etc.

The table shows all License Types (default and custom) existing in database.

Just above the table is button Add License and by clicking that you can create new license. The opened form offers possibility of defining license Name (required field) and Description.

This table will also be used for editing or deleting existing License Types.

It is important to mention that License name is unique, so you cannot add more license types with the same name.

Note: Default License Types cannot be edited or deleted.
