Notification in the NSP application is a mechanism to send information that certain event had happened in the application. Notifications can be divided in two basic types: Event based notifications are sent when certain event happens in the system to trigger the notification.
•Time controlled notifications are sent in relation (before/after)
to a date/time that concerns the CI or Contract.
An example is Reminder
notification before expiration of Contract end date.
•Event based notifications are sent when changes are made to a chosen property.
To access Notifications page, go to Configurations >
Manage >
Notifications. Click button Notifications for CI and
Contracts. The page is divided in two tabs: CI and Contract. Each tab
contains list with all notifications existing in system for selected entity. The
third column shows Entity Type for the notification. Note that it also
can be a sub type. If the System column is marked
the notification is installed on delivery and
only minor changes can be made. This list also contains a dropdown action for
each notification: Edit or Delete. The System notifications cannot be
deleted and therefor lack this alternative
Filtering and paging functions are similar to other lists in NSP, see section General User Interface.
