Configurations > Financial Management > Charging Rules (Exceptions)
Using a set of conditions you can specify that under certain circumstances the system can use special pricing. This can be that a specific agent or group shall use different rate, or worklogs connected to a specific ticket type shall be different charged, handle of a specific type of assets, etc.
The rules can be set up to check property conditions on Ticket (the ticket the current worklog is created from), CI attached to the ticket and the already existing worklogs connected to the ticket. For details see section Add/Edit charging rule.
The exceptions are connected to the Customer Account via the Charging Plan.
The form shows a list of defined Charging Rules. Shows Name, Description, flag for Active and number of conditions defined for the rule. Column Type is Work for all rules in this version.
Action menu for each rule consists of Edit, View, Duplicate, Activate/Deactivate and Delete.
•Edit opens form Add/Edit charging rule.
•View shows popup with rule data.
•Duplicate makes a copy of the rule. In popup you enter a new name for the copy.
•Activate/Deactivate is toggling function. Only Active charging rules can be connected in a Charging Plan.
• Rule that is connected to at least one Charging Plan cannot be deleted.
In form there are functions for sort, filter, search, refresh and paging similar to other NSP functions, see General User Interface.
