It is recommended that there is only one administration console installed. It can be placed on the server where NNS Service is located or on another PC.
Run NilexNetworkScanningClientSetup.msi:
Select a destination folder and click twice on Next to fulfil. A shortcut to NNS console is added under Program> Nilex Network Scanning> Nilex Network Scanning Console.
On start you will see a dialog where you can enter settings for host and port. Fill in the computer name where NNS service is installed, and the port number.
If NNS service has yet not been started you will receive a question if you want to start it. Thereupon a license entry dialog will display. Fill in the license information that you received from Nilex. NNS is now ready to be administered though the NNS console.
Next step could be to scan the network for network units and install agents on them.
We recommend only to run one administrative console at a time.
