Personal data on closed Tickets and Orders can be encrypted. When you after that open such a Ticket or Order (both as Agent or End user) is that the fields with personal data are empty. Note that account information cannot be encrypted.
As GDPR handler you must be aware of that the encryption option does not show on GDPR > Account-Level Actions > Choose user until the End user themselves has generated an encryption key on SSP.
As End user you proceed like this:
1. Produce an encryption key that is an XML-configured text string. You will have to save this key if you in the future want to decrypt data again. Let the system randomly by creating a key in User button > View profile > Encryption key > Generate.
2. Click User button User button > Personal data protection > General > Encrypt personal data Tickets & Orders > Request encryption. Note that this option does not become available until after the encryption key has been created.
3. When the GDPR handler has approved the request, all personal data on already closed Tickets that you have created. An e-mail notification is sent when this has been completed. From now on (until decryption) all your Tickets are encrypted when they are closed.
