You can define settings for the survey in this section. This tab is selected by default when you first time accesses the Surveys page. This section is divided in two sub sections: Properties and Settings.
Properties: You define properties of the survey in this section. You can define Header Text, Message on Success (which is displayed when the survey is successfully submitted), Message on Failure (which is displayed if the user has already taken the survey), Acknowledgement Text (which is displayed at the end of the survey form before submit and cancel button), Email Subject and Email Text.
Settings: You can define the settings for the survey in this section. Two options are available here:
•Enable Survey: You can check this checkbox to enable a survey. Survey will only be sent to End User if this is enabled.
•Send Survey when: Three options are available:
o A Ticket is Closed: Send the survey every time when a ticket is closed.
o “number of” Tickets are Closed: Define the number to send the survey only when defined number of tickets are closed.
o “number of” Tickets from a Requester are Closed: Define the number to send the survey only when defined number of tickets from the Requester is closed.
Note that survey is sent to requester each time the ticket is set to closed status until requester has answered the survey. This means that if ticket is reopened and then closed again a new survey message is sent if requester has not answered the earlier survey.
Survey will be sent to the requester in his or her default language. Translation for this can be defined using Survey Translation.
