The client-agent is a Windows32-application which is installed as a service on the client computer. It is the agent which in the background gathers information about the computer. An agent can only be installed on a MS Windows OS.
A special case of the Client unit is the Standalone-unit which save the data to a local file instead of the NNS database. Use commonly on off-line units.
