Shortcuts

Below you find a list of shortcuts meant to facilitate your daily work with Tickets. The shortcuts marked with * only work when positioned in an open ticket. Shortcuts marked with ** only work when positioned in an open ticket in edit mode (advanced mode).

CTRL+ALT+O

Opens Ticket by specifying ID.

 

CTRL+ALT+N

Creates a new Ticket of default type.

 

CTRL+ALT+T

Creates a new Task with default form.

 

CTRL+ALT+S**

Save with current Status.

 

CTRL+ALT+U**

Save with suggested Status.

The status shown on the button in the right bottom corner of the Ticket form.

Navigate among open tabs.

Those shortcuts don´t work in current version, they are override by standard Windows commands.

CTRL+ALT+L

Open Ticket views navigation.

 

CTRL+ALT+I

Open CI list by type view.

 

CTRL+ALT+G

Opens System Search.

Full text search (left panel search)

CTRL+F3*

Put focus in the Knowledge base search field.

On an Apple computer you must also use the CMD button.

F7**

Choose Requester.

On Apple computer: fn+F7. Use the Tab key and the Arrow keys to navigate within the form.

F8**

Choose Assignee.

On Apple computer: fn+F8. Use the Tab key and the Arrow keys to navigate within the form and Enter to choose marked Assignee.

CTRL+ALT+K**

Choose Category.

Only in ticket edit (adv) mode.

CTRL+ALT+B**

Toggle the timer.

Only in ticket edit (adv) mode.

Requires that you have made settings to show the timer.

CTRL+ALT+W*

Write comment on Ticket.

 

Alt+F12

Open the User Profile.

On an Apple computer you must also use the CMD button.
