Configurations > CMDB Management > Relationship Types.
Relationship defines relationship between a CI and either another CI, a person, a role or a group. Relation Types are defined twice, once from the perspective of the parent CI and once from the child CI's perspective (inverse relation).
The table shows all Relationship Types default and custom existing in database.
Just above the table is button Add Relationship and by clicking that you can create new relationship. The opened form offers possibility of defining all relationship details, so you have to input Relationship (required field), Inverse relationship (required field) and Description.
This table will also be used for editing or deleting existing Relationship Types.
It is important to mention that combination of Relationship and Inverse relationship is unique, so you cannot add more relationship types with the same combination.
Note: Default Relationship Types cannot be edited or deleted.
Searching, sorting, filtering and paging functions are similar to other lists in CMDB, see section General User Interface.
