This tab is only shown for CI Type Asset (and its children).
This form shows Software attached to this CI, and offers the possibility to attach Software or remove an association. It is possible to attach existing Software or to create and associate new Software.
When you just want to attach existing Software click on Attach Software button, in dropdown choose Existing and following form will appear:
Attach software to CI
Software can be searched by name (2) and/or be filtered by Software Type (1). After choosing Software Type table is filtered due to selected type (and it´s subtype).
Selecting checkboxes (3) choose all software’s you want to attach. Click Save button, and preferred software will appear in list.
If you want to create and associate new software, click on Attach software button, in dropdown choose New. First step is to select appropriate Software Type. After selecting Software Type, you will get a list of software properties based on selected type, which need to be edited. When you finished adding new Software, CI will appear in the list.

•OS
•Application
•Database
•Security
•Antivirus
•Web Server
Note: Each Software that is added here is made into a CI itself. One software CI can be related only to one hardware CI.
To delete preferred software from list, choose Remove button in table cell, or if you want to remove more software’s at once, tab offers that possibility. Selecting checkboxes choose software you want to remove and click the button Remove, just above the table, to remove associated software’s.
Search, sort, filter, paging and export features are available similar to other lists in NSP, see General User Interface.
