The agent installer executable is a program that can look for current version of agent on a computer and install/upgrade only if necessary. When it is used, the agent msi must be located in same folder. The script generated by network scanning, described in previous page, typically contains this line:
FullPath\AgentInstaller.exe -bat -install -host nilextest02 -port 5500 -procid 1
•Host – name or IP-address of the computer where Nilex Network Scanning server is installed.
•Port – The port that the server listens for agent connections.
•Procid - Agent identification mode (1 – by bios).
