Common User Interface

Configurable options in System and User Created are displayed in a list in respective tab with expand/collapse functionality. You can click on expand/collapse (5) displayed beside every configurable option to expand/collapse the list.

The common user interface consists of a list of types under respective option and a search box (6). The list for each configurable option contains active types followed by inactive ones (7). Each row in the list includes name of the type and Action buttons: Activate (11) and Edit (12). Activate button is used to activate or deactivate the specific type. The list of types in each option may contain more columns based on the category.

Search, sorting, filtering, paging, print and export functions are similar to other lists in NSP, see section General User Interface.

Add new record button is used to create new type (8). Edit button (12) is used to edit/update an already created type. Both Create and Edit opens a similar popup, except in Edit is data for selected type already filled in.

For most of the types the popup contains at least those two fields to define an object in different languages:

Localization: In this field, two inputs are provided. One to select language and another one to enter type name for the language selected in the dropdown. You can enter name for the number of languages you need.

Strong Name: A name used internally by the system. It will not be shown for the user. In contrast to Localization the Strong Name must be unique.

This general user interface is used by a number of the configuration items. It is then not described in detail in the description below.
