Contract lifecycle is predefined, and cannot be edit or delete. This lifecycle is referenced to all contract types. You cannot add custom lifecycle for contract entities.

Every lifecycle must have one stage designated as the default stage. When you create a new contract, it automatically takes the default stage of the contract lifecycle. Draft stage is default.
