A pair of examples of irrelevant information can be virtual printers and Microsofts network adapters. As exclude rules, they may look like this:
The rule above excludes all printers which do not use a regular printer port type.
The rule above excludes all network adapters with Microsoft as manufacturer.
Another reasonable rule is to add filtering of Installed Applications to remove Windows hotfixes/patches/service packs, since these can be numerous. Such an example is described in the topic Create NNS rule from unit.
