By choosing Action Scan/Install agents the function will look for data on all install units. Here follows description of settings specific for this choice.
It is possible to set up an automatic scan in Network Scanning, which means that computers - and other units - added to the network will be automatically registered in the database.
•Auto install new - The units will just be reported as found.
•Auto reinstall not connected - means a registered computer was found despite not being connected. This could mean that agent has been manually removed or stopped. Check this to reinstall agent.
•Administrator name/Administrator password - Set an authentication that Inventory Service will use when installing agents on found computers.
• When everything is set, click in OK. Now the task should be displayed in task list:
