Two factor authentication (2FA) is a security system that requires an additional login credential – beyond just the username and password – to gain account access, and getting that second credential requires access to something that belongs to you.
Nilex service platform allows you two ways to protect account: passcode via email and passcode via SMS.
This page contains a list of two factor authentication methods. Page also offer possibility for configuring 2FA methods and activate/deactivate configuration.
• Name - This column contains Name of the 2FA method.
• Enabled - These columns contains if 2FA method is enabled.
Configure 2FA methods
Use Configure action for setting up 2FA method.
Email verification form:
• Email configuration – from the dropdown select email configuration you want to use for verification method
• Email template – from dropdown choose email template which you want to use for this verification method. Email template is defined in Text Templates, where you define email subject and body.
Template tag OTP is passcode.
SMS verification form:
• SMS Account - from dropdown select SMS account you want to use for verification method
• SMS Template – from the dropdown choose SMS template which you want to use for this verification method. SMS template is defined in Text Templates, where you define SMS text template
