A Power User is a user having rights to create tickets On Behalf of others. Those settings affect which possilities should be available for create tickets On Behalf of others. But it also affect which links are available in Check my existing Tickets in Self Service Portal.
This option contains those settings:
•Enable Power User functionality: When this setting is enabled a checkbox, On behalf of, is displayed in the Ticket form allowing user to choose another user for whom the ticket is created. In Check my existing Tickets list a link View open Tickets reported by me will be available where you can see a list of tickets you have reported On Behalf of others.
•The next two settings are toggling, only one can be enabled (if none of them is enabled all users could be selected in On behalf of:
o Allow only for own organization. This will override other permission settings: You can choose only users belonging to same (your) organization in On behalf of. In Check my existing Tickets an End User can see all tickets created by users in own organization.
o Allow own organisation + organisations given by roles: You can choose users in your organization and users in organizations you have got permission via a role you have been assigned. In Check my existing Tickets an End User can see all tickets created by users in own organization and in organizations user have got permission via an assigned role.
•Show your organization link in SSP: This selection enables a link in Self Service Portal, View Tickets for your organization. It is possible for End User to display a list of tickets created by his organization regardless which user submitted the ticket.
