Roles

Configurations > User & Permission Management > Roles

NSP has different types of users including: AdministratorsAgents, End Users and Super Administrators. All of these users have different tasks to perform, and then have been assigned different access permissions based on roles. The resulting permission for a user is a merge of permissions based on all the roles the user is added to, and all roles assigned to Permission Scopes user is a member of. If a permission is assigned to at least one of those roles, this permission will be assigned to the user.

Note that for Super Administrator roles fully permissions are always automatically assigned. For users assigned to this role system never check permission settings and settings then have no effect. Super Administrator permissions cannot be restricted.

Roles can be created in a hierarchic structure. If a user is member of a role he will also inherit all permissions from sub roles to this role.

In this function is displayed the structure of all roles in the system. From links rightmost on each row  you can Add, View, Edit and Delete roles. The basic roles cannot be edited or deleted.
