Settings

Functions available in Settings tab is different depending on if it is called for logged in or anonymous users.

Logged in users tab:

Settings tab for Logged in SSP Configuration enables you to select columns which will be visible in My Tickets views in SSP. Selecting checkboxes choose columns that shall be shown in respective view. You can also move columns to rearrange their position. Within the configuration, you can set the default sort order for service items within the Service Catalog.

Per default values Assignee, Status and Priority are shown in right panel of SSP ticket details form when End User opens a ticket. But if value is not selected to be shown as a column in the list view it is hided also in the ticket details form.

 

Not logged in (Start page) users tab:

Settings tab of the SSP Configuration for anonymous users enables you to control certain aspects of the SSP behavior. Using this settings you will be able to:

   Show/Hide Register function, registration of end users on SSP.

   Show/Hide Forgot Password link on login page

   Allow helptext login

   Allow/Disallow Submit Ticket feature for anonymous, not logged in users.

   Allow/Disallow access to Knowledge Base for anonymous, not logged in users.

   Allow/Disallow access to Billboard for anonymous, not logged in users.

   Allow/Disallow KB Search Widget on Submit Ticket Form. This option is conditioned with Knowledge Base and Submit ticket options.

   Create and maintain the list of the allowed domains from which the anonymous, not logged in users can register or submit ticket. Allowed domain makes all mail addresses from this domain permitted to enter ticket or to register in the SSP if respective option is enabled.

   Hide domain selection on AD login - If this option is enabled, domain selection from the list will be hidden on the login active directory form. The user will have to enter domainname\username in the username field.
