Document template feature allow you to export entity information from NSP system to a document. You create template documents, containing text and tags. When entity is exported all tags are replaced with data from selected entity.
Templates can be used for following entities:
• CI
• Contract
• Product
• Service Item
• All ticket types
• Customer account
• Knowledge base articles
Document Templates
The form contains list of all created document templates in the system.
The list includes following columns:
•Name: The name of document template. Translatable text.
•Description: Document template description. Translatable text.
•Entity: Name of entity for which is document template is created.
•File: File name of the template file.
•Language: Template file language. If you want to create documents in different languages you have to create a document template in each language separately.
Rightmost on row the list also contains a dropdown action for each document template. Available actions are: Edit, View executed files, Set Access Scope and Delete:
•Edit: Option is used for edit document template. Opens edit form, same as when template is created.
•View executed files: Shows list of all created files. List contains information of file Name, Created date, Created by and Status. Also contains Download action link used to download already executed files.
Executed files
• Set Access Scope: Clicking on this button opens a popup where you can adjust the permissions of who has the right to use this document template. You can adjust the permissions on all levels.
•Delete: Delete the template from NSP system.
Above the list there are filter functionality to filter by Entity.
