Add Ticket

Add + button is used to create new tickets or tasks. When you click Add + button normally the form to create default ticket type is opened. The default ticket type is defined in a system setting.

When you mouse over the Add + button, an option menu is opened below the button, see figure below:

The option menu contains two sections: Selections for create Ticket, CI, Task, Contract or KB Article and Recently changed Tickets.

The create section contains options to create tickets of different types. These types vary in different systems due to settings. In this example the options include: Request, Incident, Problem, CI and Task. For each type a number of different forms could be defined. Tickets created will get the Source Icon for System, .

When you mouse over particular option row, forms defined for that ticket or task type are displayed (1). Clicking an option opens the form defined as default for that ticket type. Recently changed Tickets section contains the latest three tickets changed by the logged in user. Clicking a ticket in this menu opens the detail page for the ticket.
