Single Sign-on

The Single Sign-On feature (will be referred to as SSO) allow Agents and End Users to log in without typing user names and passwords, provided they are logged in to their Windows systems.

Requirements needed in order for SSO to work:

SSO-function enabled in system configuration. See Enabling SSO System level.

User has to be a member of the Windows Domain.

User must be imported into NSP database as Windows Domain user using LDAP Connections.

User role has to be enabled for using SSO. See Enabling SSO System level.

User has enabled SSO in the User Profile.

The software NSP SSO Agent must be installed on every computer where SSO is to be used. See Install NSP SSO Agent.

Note! The automatic log-in is only made the first time NSP is started after browser start. A new login without closing the browser requires usage of password.
